Anthony Best Dynamics is one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of advanced driving robots and suspension measurement test rigs used for vehicle development. The company exports over 95% of its output and invests substantial resources in research. Its many clients include Ford, Toyota, Daimler, BMW, Volkswagen and Honda.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER
We use a mixture of computing technologies in our products including Windows PCs that provide a user interface to our systems and real-time motion controllers that allow our robotic systems to drive vehicles.
Due to recent growth in sales and the desire to develop new products, we are looking for a junior software engineer to join our development team to assist with general maintenance and management of existing software as well as the opportunity to work on new systems currently under development.
The role is ideally suited to someone with with a good degree qualification in maths, science, or engineering who is adept at programming as the job requires an understanding of mathematical algorithms as well as the ability to design human machine interfaces.
Our existing systems are coded in a mixture of languages including Delphi, C, Matlab, embedded C, and custom scripting languages. Knowledge of Linux programming would be advantageous. as we are currently migrating some of our control software to a real time Linux platform
